Lovely accommodation very clean close to shops,pubs and restaurants.

Great location. Breakfast delivered to bedroom, this was enjoyable and could choose from a variety of items.Clean and a lovely welcome from owner. Perhaps a sign of were to go on arrival would be helpful.The parking is quite a tight squeeze.

We arrived at the coach house and was greeted by mark who was lovely and welcoming. Our room was on the second floor and was very clean and modern. The breakfast was continental which we chose the night before and was delivered to our room at our choice of time. All very fresh and plenty of choice. We will definitely be returning at some point very soon.

I just spent three delightful days staying at the Coach House. My room was extremely comfortable. Both bedroom and bathroom, a generous size and nicely decorated. Breakfast arrived on time each morning, even hot milk for the plunger coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay here, very clean and an our king room was a good size with a lovely cottage feel. The location was excellent, everything you need within walking distance. Breakfast was presented very nicely with a good choice, however maybe a hot option would have been nice as a choice. Overall though I would highly recommend this guest house!

We were so lucky to drop on this accommodation for our short break in the Lake District. The Coach House lies between Windermere and Bowness and has been brought up to the highest standsrd by the owners. Rooms, of which there are I think, only three, are well appointed and the bed in our room was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is served to the room.For such a holiday hotspot, we felt the cost per night was very reasonable.We would definitely stay there again

The Coach House was a beautiful place to stay and very convenient with it being half way between Windermere and Bowness, it was immaculately clean,very cosy and beautifully decorated.The host Mark was very helpful and really welcoming when we arrived, it was a real pleasure to meet him and to stay at The Coach House.

I thought the place was clean and tidy, saw the venue on various websites that showed pictures of cooked breakfasts. Sadly it's a croissant, toastand yoghurt kind of place. Your breakfasts are delivered on a tray on a fold out table so you eat it on the bed, I was disappointed but enjoyed my stay. It's local to the train station (10 mins walk) and Bowness (15 mins)Emma was friendly and accommodating.

We booked last minute combining a work trip and a chance to enjoy the lake district. Perfect location, halfway between windermere and Bowness. Clean, comfortable, cool rooms. Fresh milk for coffees in thr fridge. Breakfast was lovely, brought to your room on time.Mark was a great host, really welcoming on arrival and then just left you to it.Highly recommend and will be back next time I'm visiting.

We stayed at the Coach House for 3 nights and we would highly recommend it.The room and ensuite were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious.The proprietors were friendly and helpful with information about the area.They made us feel very welcome and even carried our cases up to our room on arrival and back down again when we were leaving which was a bonus for us as we're "older".Nothing seemed too much trouble for them and we would definitely stay here again

Received a very warm welcome on arrival and found our room very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend in Windermere.The Coach House is in a great location, 10 mins to the right to the shops restaurants and bars etc in Windermere and 10 mins to the left to the same in Bowness. Emma gave us plenty of info on things to do and a few restaurant recommendations too.Will visit again for sure.

Em&Mark the hosts were very welcoming the room was a good size and spotless clean tea &coffee making facilities, continental breakfast brought to your room really nice, location is perfect 10 mins walk down to Bowness 10 mins walk up to windermere.

Had a lovely time, room was bright and airy and very clean. Breakfastwas brought to our room every morning at set time, plenty to choose from.Mark and Emma were very friendly and were keen to help us make the best of our short stay by telling us where to go and see etc, couldn’t have asked for better.Would definitely recommend The Coach house to anyone planning to visit this area.

The Coach House is 10min walk from the town centre whick makes it ideal for the quieter and more peaceful stay ( unless it happens to have a champion snorer in the room next to yours :) ) Mark was super caring, helpful and friendly. It was great to have some recommendations for local walks in the room, I used quite a few during my stay and it made planning my days so much easier. Breakfast was delivered to my room at chosen time and it was lovely. I was grateful for being able to check out an hour later. Thank you Mark and Ema for your hospitality and making my time in the Lake District even more special.

Mark and Emma were excellent hosts and the location was perfect. An easy walk into the town with access to bars and restaurants.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Coach House B&B in the 'River Studio'. We really enjoyed our time, the hosts were friendly and the accommodation is in a very convenient location for going on walks around Windermere - there are also lots of lovely shops and restaurants within walking distance. The River Studio itself was immaculately clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the stream outside of the patio doors. I would recommend this B&B to everyone, we'll definitely be staying here again :)

Our stay was extremely comfortable and relaxed. The Coach House is very good value for money and we'll placed for Windermere and Bowness. The premises are spotless and well furnished. Mark and Emma are excellent hosts. We will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend The Coach House.

Emma and Mark are a lovely couple. Our room had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and we slept really well.The continental breakfast was amazing and delivered to your door on time. The Coach House is in-between Windermere and Bowness. Both are about 10 mins walk away. We loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommend. :)

From check-in to check-out, the Coach house was simply fenomenal. Emma greeted us at the door, gave us some great information about surrounding areas and what we could do and made us feel so welcome. We went up to the double room we booked, it was immaculate. Room filled with natural light, really good amount of space and a really comfy bed. We filled out our preferences for breakfast in the morning and time we wanted it. In the morning we had a quiet knock on the door (which was just enough to hear and not at all disturbing). Breakfast was amazing, fresh and still warm. The property is just a 10 minute walk (if that) into town and the lakefront where there are many restaurants and pubs. The stay was just incredible and would definitely book again. Seriously I can’t recommend and hype this place up enough.

friendly owners, immaculate room, fantastic service, thank you. The reception was warm and friendly, the room was sparkling, and everything (wifi, tv, shower etc) worked well and with ease. The breakfast was delivered on time, and without fuss, and the place itself is just on the outskirts of a lovely little village (Bowness) which means you can leave the car and have a pleasant walk into the village and enjoy the food/drink (and theres every food thinkable on offer with the many restaurants ) without the worry of carparks. It is also a short drive away from many main attractions close by, (the lakes and surrounding villages, just all in all a perfect spot). Really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend it, and hope to return sometime to have more time exploring the lakes.

Just had a 3 night's stay in the beautiful studio retreat with balcony overlooking woodland and stream, very relaxing setting. Perfect place to sit and enjoy your coffee!Well thought-out accommodation, kitchen equipped for light cooking,good sized fridge. Excellent bathroom and the bed is very comfortable.Very clean and comfortable accommodation.Great location for walking up to Windermere or down to Bowness.Bus stops nearby.Hosts Emma & Mark are very welcoming and on hand if needed, thank you had a lovely stay. Mark and Em checked us in early after a long journey and made us feel very welcome , they were on hand if we needed anything but otherwise left us to it which we personally prefer. We felt very relaxed like we were at home. The B&B is so pretty and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 nights andMark and Em were always happy to replenish anything you need in the room … tea, coffee, milk or loo rolls! We found the information in the room really helpful especially the food recommendation's (the Thai restaurant is a must!)and local places of interest. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Coach House to anyone wanting to stay in the area, the location is great just a short walk into Bowness and 5 mins from a bus stop. Also found the on-site parking a real bonus.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Coach House and found the accommodation both spacious and very comfortable. Our host Mark was very friendly and was always on hand if we needed any help or extra items in our room. The only thing we would have liked is the availability of a breakfast room rather than having to eat breakfast in our bedroom.

We stayed at this beautiful old coach house in between Windermere and Bowness, the hosts was brill, kind and friendly, very spacious room that was clean and had everything we needed on hand.

Really clean and quiet . It was within walking distance of both Bowness and Windermere so great location . The hosts could not do enough for you and were very helpful.

I just want to say what a lovely stay we had at the Coach House, the room was great, Mark & Em were very nice & the 'room service' breakfasts were yummy!

On arrival Mark met us and after a long drive we had a good chat and he was really helpful in guiding. us around for our initial evening.The property has gone through some extensive renovation and I found it to be really tastefully done and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was of a 'continental' style which you order the evening before and it is then delivered to your door which allows you the comfort of NOT having to drag yourself out of bed to sit eating a breakfast whist still trying to wake up. The breakfast itself was more than sufficient in what you were offered.The Coach House if really well situated and close to lots of local amenities whether you walk 'up the hill' or go down to the Bowness side of Windermere.Even from the property there are some really nice walking options and for the who are the outdoor types you wouldn't be disappointed.If there was a downside it was simply the shower...but all it needs is a little more 'power' and I'd have been VERY happy.Overall I can't fault The Coach House, can say without doubt Mark is a very friendly host and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for nice comfortable accommodation.

Das B&B ist günstig zwischen Windermere und Bowness gelegen. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist 3 min entfernt, der Busbahnhof 10 min. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber, der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Dadurch, dass das im Zimmer gefrühstückt wird (kein warmes, typisch britisches Frühstück), hat man kaum Kontakt zum Gastgeber oder zu anderen Gästen. Erstere ist aber immer ansprechbar!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Coach House in Windermere! The accommodation was impeccably clean and impressively well-equipped, making it a truly cozy retreat. It's undoubtedly the best place to stay in the area, with a serene riverside location adding to its charm. The owners were incredibly welcoming and readily available to answer our questions, which added to the overall excellent experience. We wholeheartedly recommend The Coach House to anyone looking for a delightful getaway in Windermere.

We found a friendly welcome in the Coachhouse by Emma, and a comfortable room for a long weekend. The guesthouse is located at approximately halfway onbetween the centres of Windermere and Bowness, each at walking distance and each with lots of eateries, bars, shops, etc. Being halfway had the advantage of being a much quieter area. The room with ensuite was comfortable, and breakfast is brought to the room at a time of your choice. There is on site parking. All I all, we had a very pleasant weekend thanks to staying here.

If you are looking for a super place to stay, look no further than the Coach House. Our room, 3, was beautifully decorated, pristine and comfortable. Breakfast is ordered in advance and brought to your door at a time of your choosing. The property is in a great location, easy to walk into Windermere, to the lake or Bowness. I would highly recommend.

We stayed in the river studio for 4 days, our only regrets were not staying a bit longer. Mark and Emily are very friendly and helpful. The studio was very peaceful and has everything you need for a holiday, the bed is comfortable and its all very clean. The balcony has an excellent view of the fast running stream and vegetation outside its very relaxing. The place is in an excellent location being a short walk to Windermere and Bowness, there is regular buses 2 minute walk, that at the moment have a £2 flat fare to Grasmere, Keswick and other brilliant scenic locations traditional towns and villages. The train station is not far away and has services to Lancaster which serve other parts of the lake district such as Kendall and Oxenholme. Its not essential to have a car on this trip. There are some lovely walks close to the accommodation going down to the lake. Its a very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Coachhouse. We received a very warm welcome on arrival from Mark and Em and excellent communication before we arrived. A peaceful and restful stay at The Coach House. Than you for making us feel so welcome and looking after us with the minimum of fuss. We stayed in Room 4. Plenty large enough for us. A seating area at one end and an en-suite shower sink and wc. Situated in the gable end front of the building - no views as such but bright and airy.Excellent breakfast each morning delivered to the room ( continental ).All in all the perfect location to explore Windermere and surrounding area.Thanks again. The Coach House is in an ideal location, in-between Windermere village and bowness. Bowness being a little busier but with lots of choice for places to eat and drink.. the bedroom and en suite has been lovenly decorated and has a very soothing atmosphere.. this was my second visit and will definitely return when available..

We arrived later than originally planned on the Friday. We rang ahead but the host was really accommodating and reassuring. There was space to park out front and Emma was there to greet us. The house smelt amazing and Christmassy. Everything was explained to us and ordering what we wanted for breakfast was easy.Bed was comfy, room was clean, as advertised and nicely decorated. Room was a little chilly though the radiator was on throughout and it didn’t impact our stay (plus it was freezing outside!!) En suite was small but not pokey. Water pressure a little on the low side but shower was warm and it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was delivered to the room on time and was really tasty. A really nice change to have breakfast in bed!Really enjoyed our stay - the hosts were very responsive and wonderful throughout.Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our 3 day stay at the Coach House. Our room was tastefully decorated, with patio doors providing a pleasant view. The shower area was very clean with the tiling recently updated. We spoke to our host Mark on a few occasions who was very pleasant and helpful. Our breakfasts were delivered to our room punctually each morning.

I stayed at the coach house for four nights this week and has a wonderful experience. Mark and Em are such friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was comfortable, clean and bigger than I had expected. Great little continental breakfast in the morning - including good coffee! They have a list of different walks/places to eat in each room - I use this when making some of my walking and eating decisions and was a great guide! I will definitely be back if I travel to the Lakes again ☺️

This lovely little guest house was only 10 minutes walk from the station in one direction, and the lake in the other. The airy room was spotless and comfortable. We loved the continental breakfast, which was just right to set you up for the day. The Coach house guest house is a lovely place in a great location and we would recommend it to any travelling folk visiting the lakes the hosts were very friendly and informative

Never been Lake District … what a fool … The Coach House in the ideal position. In between Windermere and Bowness and near the lake.Hotel was clean and comfortable. Mark the owner was very helpful. I was left to my own devices . Continental breakfast was served to your room. I couldn’t recommend this Hotel highly enough. When not if I’m up again will definitely book The Coach House again.

Absolutely wonderful find - hosts are so friendly and welcoming, room immaculately clean and everything provided that you might need.Breakfast plentiful and delicious.Property located in a great place - turn left to walk into Windermere or right to go down the hill to Bowness.We intend to return.

Due to the rail dispute, I extended my 7 day stay in Windermere by 3 days. Booking just before I left, I was lucky to get it. I found The Coach House a very enjoyable stay, indeed. The room was at the rear of the house, & therefore quiet. It was extremely clean & comfortable, including the bed. My yummy, chosen breakfast was promptly brought to my door. Saw very little of Mark, as he was busy outside, finishing off a self-catering project. But Emma was extremely helpful, whenever I knocked on their door. The CH is about a 15 minute walk back up to Windermere, & about 10 minutes down to Bowness. It is on the main road between Windermere & Bowness, & is easy to find. I really enjoyed my unexpected stay at the CH, & would have no hesitation in staying there again, if the need arose. Many thanks, Emma

I had a very pleasant stay in this family run B&B. Mark and Emma really care for their guests and give you a heartily welcome. My room with the ensuite bathroom was very clean, cozy and contained everything I needed, even a fridge. The breakfast was tasty and because of the pandemic still brought on a tray to your room. You can feel safe and at home in this house. The hosts supply you with recommendations for walks, trips and restaurants. Nearby is a bus stop, especially the bus 599 runs frequently and serves the train station too. The location is very well situated between the center of Windermere and Bowness at the lake.

Property is in a lovely setting. Room was clean, tidy and bed was extremely comfortable. Owner was extremely friendly. Breakfast was great and always on time that was requested. Property is situated about 10 mins between Windermere and Bowness so not to far to either place. Would absolutely stay there again on our next visit,

The Coach House was a great find, situated right in the middle of the centre of Windermere. Emma and Mark were very welcomming when we arrived, they leave you to your own devices but always available if you have any queries. Our room was lovely, recently decorated, there were tea and coffee facilities and a fridge and modern shower room. Breakfast was a choice of pastries, porridge, granola, fruit and fresh coffee or tea, setting us up for the day. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning.

By sheer luck I picked The 'Coach House Bed & Breakfast' after searching on the internet. After spending 5 very enjoyable days/nights I have no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending this wonderful place. On arrival I was immediately struck by the warm welcome & the en-suite room was light, airy & scrupulously clean. A lovely continental breakfast in the morning & ideally located between Windermere & Bowness on Windermere, place your booking while you can folks!

It was a lovely stay in the coach house .We we’re made very welcome ,and also with a lovely breakfast.Hopefully we will be back in the near future .

The Coach House was an idyllic place to stay. The location is excellent, set right in the middle of Windermere and Bowness, both which are within a short walking distance. The Coach House is very clean and Emma and Mark are lovely hosts and made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast and I would also not hesitate to go back for another stay.

I loved the whole feel and decor of the coach house, my room was lovely with a good size bathroom. Parking on site which can sometimes be difficult when staying in the area. And a perfect location between bowness and Windermere,id definitely stayagain..

Our stay at the coach House was worth every penny. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. They agree to our request to check in early which a lot of places don't allow.The room we had at the front of the property was a fantastic size and was spotlessly clean, a huge bed, plenty of storage space for clothes and a great size bathroom. The choice of continental breakfast was perfect, fresh coffee and orange juice, yogurt with berries and granola and fresh toast and fruit which set us up for the day. A great central location. I can guarantee my wife and I will definitely be returning.

Stayed for two nights. Was greeted by friendly owners on arrival explaining everything to us. They upgraded us to room 4, which was very big, warm and extremely clean. Breakfast was delivered prompt to our bedroom door at the time we requested and it was fresh and tasty with banana to take with us on our walk. Great location for Windermere & Bowness. Just perfect break in a beautiful place 😀

Very happy with are stay, no request was too much for are hosts. Room very clean with all are requirements met,i.e good sized closet and plenty of draw space. Tea and coffee making needs replenished when needed. In all a very pleasing stay.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights over my 21st birthday. The friendliness of the owners is unmatched, from the moment we arrived we was greeted with smiles and pleasant conversation about the local sites and attractions. The room was spacious and Devine. Lush bed and very homely aura to it. I would 100% return and can honestly say the Coach house made my birthday weekend all the more special.

This is the second time we have travelled to the Lakes but the first time staying at The Coach House. Rooms were super spacious, clean and heating was great to walk into from the cold. Hosts were very friendly, informative and very helpful. Excellent location for everything we need. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the Lake District.

We travelled to the coach House on the 19th November 2021 for two nights.When we arrived we were given a warm welcome from Emma, which I can easily say you would think she had known us for years, so easily to talk to.Our room was spacious and bright, breakfast was brought to your room due to restrictions, I can honestly say it was the best continental breakfast we have ever had.Location of the coach House is perfectly positioned for a short walk to Windermere lake, and at night a short walk to local restaurants.Will definitely be booking again.Big thanks to Emma & Mark.Trevor & Lorraine.

The Coach House was a wonderful base for our short stay in the lakes.We stayed in a king room which was very clean and comfortable and gave us plenty of space to relax.Though only a Covid measure, it was really nice to have breakfast in bed each morning.I certainly hope it continues post Covid but I expect other guests may want a fuller breakfast menu,Mark and Em were great hosts and anything we needed was left outside our room just a few moments after asking.Would certainly stay here again on another trip to the lakes.

Very accomadating couple, nice room, neat and warm.Location of the coach house is very good near every amenities to enjoy around.

As I turned up the drive I met Mark as he was outside. Gave me the warmest welcome and explained how it all worked due to COVID. Upon entering the hallway, the place is gorgeously furnished. Did have a little trouble getting the key into the door lock but got used to it after a few uses.Bedroom was lovely and bright but cosy at the same time. Did have to turn up the radiator as window was open for ventilation so a little cool.Breakfast is continental and I opted simply for Croissant, Banana and Orange Juice. The croissant was lovely, warm and toasty.Communication was mainly on text message and so upon the end of my stay I texted asking what I needed to do and received a very prompt response.Hope I haven’t put too much but as I say, really great stay and I’ll definitely be back.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay in a charming Lake District cottage close to all amenities in the area. Hosts were charming and welcoming.

We had a short but enjoyable stay in this clean, well presented and well located venue.Our adult daughter had a single room and was very comfortable.A very good launching pad for whatever activity you may have in the area; we were attending a wedding.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location, fantastic accommodation and more importantly, amazing hosts!Would recommend and will be returning.

Good location between Bowness and Windermere. Parking a bit tight. Room very clean and spacious. Bathroom also clean and spacious, just a couple of technicals: no hot water in the washbasin on a couple of occasions in the evening, also the shower temperature went from hot to cold after about 5 mins of use. Would stay here again and would recommend.

We were so fortunate to get booked into the coach house. On the positive side Its location is perfect for walking into Bowness or Windermere. Breakfast was first class the room was spotless as was the guest house.There were no negatives. I will certainly return when i visit Bowness in the future, and have no hesitation in recommending the coach house to friends and anyone looking for a great place to stay. From making the initial booking Mark and Emma were the perfect hosts. The Coach House is in a ideal position between Bowness and Windermere within walking distance of both with on site parking. An open top bus ride is only 35 minutes to Grassmere and you will see much more from the top deck of the bus rather than by travelling by car. Lovely rooms beautifully decorated and a breakfast to set you up for the day albeit COVID 19 friendly. Would we go again, definitely although the cost perhaps may make us think about it a little. We are confident you wouldn't be disappointed after visiting The Coach House

Beautiful Bed & Breackfast in great location, not far from the restraunts and shops. We had a amazing weekend and was made to feel welcome by owners.. Definietly would come back and stay again!!

The Lake District is absolutely amazing already.Having taken the opportunity during our visit to do a long hike, we really wanted a comfortable and friendly place to stay and The Coach House was that and more.Mark is a wonderful host and we cannot wait to go back!

We stayed at The Coach House for 4 nights and it was perfect. Easy access to the centre of Windermere and short drives to other parts of the Lakes. It was very Covid secure and we both felt very at ease. The breakfast was delivered to your room each morning which was great and the food was lovely. Parking was tight but there was always a space available. A wonderful place to stay and I would 100% recommend, the hosts were lovely! We’ll certainly be back!

The best“single “ room that I have stayed in. Double bed (very comfortable), large shower & extremely quiet, theonly sound was the beck. No noise heard from other guests. Lovely breakfast. I required more fresh milk, it was delivered to my door within minutes. Will definitely return.

Very welcoming host, Emma, explained everything perfectly on arrival. The room, accessed via a beautiful entrance hall, was booked as a single, but it was quite large, with a double bed. Exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The continental style breakfast was delivered to the room, delicious coffee. A lovely stay,in peaceful surroundings.

My first time visiting the Lakes and having read previous reviews my stay at the Coach House did not disappoint. Emma and Mark made me feel very welcome, helpful and very friendly, the Perfect hosts. The Coach House is a lovely building very clean and modern decor situated in the Perfect location just a 10 minute stroll to Bowness for the Harbour, restaurants. Pubs and shops. I will definitely be going back and for me The Coach House will be On top of my list. Thank you again Emma and Mark for making my stay just Perfect.

We'd never been to the Lake District before and wanted somewhere to stay for 5 nights near Lake Windermere. Our research took us to  The Coach House on Lake road . Located between Bowness on Windermere & Windermere ,it was ideal for us. Booking direct, we secured a fantastic deal for the premium king en suite . We had great communication with Mark the proprietor and on arrival he was very welcoming and helpful indeed. Our room was very spacious and lots of natural light , it also had a  feeling of comfort & quality  with touches of luxury here & there. Decoration was fresh and new and  it was pleasing to see that  lots of old character had been kept and it was  perfectly married with modern fixtures & fittings . We had a very comfortable bed and lots of storage space too. The bathroom was very light &  spacious  , no expense spared on fixtures and fittings , the shower was really nice to use every time . Toiletries ,towels etc all great quality and again gave the feeling of luxury .  We had breakfast brought via a tray every morning , hot & cold items picked from a list and it was delicious every time . We're not one's for greasy  fry up's so the fresh fruit ,porridge ,toast and pastries suited us . Along with the  fresh coffee and OJ it set us up well for the day . We had a little fridge in our room and tea & coffee making facilities too .  Location wise The Coach House is  approx  15 minutes walk  either way to to the lakeside or main village , car parking at the hotel  was easy too. We met Mark and his lovely wife Emma a few times during our stay and they made us feel very welcome indeed. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in the Lake District and it was alot to do with our stay at The Coach House .

I can't fault my stay at The Coach House. The hosts Emma and Mark were so lovely and helpful, they have made the property Covid safe and I felt very comfortable in my little Lakes bubble for the weekend. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay within easy reach of main attractions of Windermere and Bowness.

Liked everything! 100%. Off-road parking. Friendly and professional owner Emma greeted me outside (COVID stuff) to easily and comprehensively tell me of house rules, etc. Good sized single room, with, importantly for me, a double bed. Good sized en-suite. Bang up to date decoration, fixtures and fittings. COVID secure breakfast service with easy ordering system. Regular txts from Emma to check if I needed anything. Up to date kettle and mini fridge. Super smooth bedding and towels, obviously of high quality. Full length single wardrobe with hangers.

This was our second visit to The Coach House,didn't disappoint, even tho things where very different! Communication was via text message, which worked well and a lovely continental breakfast was served in the room. Would highly recommend a visit when allowed!????????

Stayed for 2 nights, the place itself is amazingly clean. I love it so much as it is situated in the center of Windermere. You can walk and enjoy the place. Relaxing..Lovely host and would highly recommend.

Love this place! Everything we need for a visit to The Lakes.The place is warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean with some lovely touches added.
